Windows XP 防火牆分頁消失？修復 WMI 儲存庫找回 ICF 設定

現象

區域連線內容→進階分頁，原應顯示 Windows 防火牆（ICF）設定，卻出現「Windows 無法顯示此連線的屬性。Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) 資訊可能損毀……」錯誤訊息。

嘗試失效的常規做法

• 重裝網卡驅動 → 無效
• 右鍵區域連線→修復 → 無效，且「橋接」亦報錯

根因與解決方案

原因：C:\Windows\System32\Wbem\Repository 目錄下檔案損毀。WMI 每 30~60 秒讀取一次，導致持續報錯。

修復步驟

1. 右鍵「我的電腦」→管理→服務與應用程式→服務→找到「Windows Management Instrumentation」→停止服務。
2. 刪除 C:\Windows\System32\Wbem\Repository 目錄下所有檔案。
3. 重開機，系統自動重建 Repository 檔案並啟動 WMI 服務。

連帶症狀

• 無法查看區域連線屬性
• 執行 msinfo32 無回應
• 執行 wmimgmt.msc 提示「Failed to connect to local computer due to WMI: Generic failure」
