承接上篇，本文著重於 Windows XP 服務精簡、註冊表深度調校，以及讓系統更聰明地管理資源，進一步釋放頻寬與效能。
六、手動精簡系統服務 (services.msc)
「開始 → 執行」輸入 services.msc，將非必要服務設為「手動」或「停用」。建議保留項 (標 *)：
- * EventLog (系統日誌，排錯關鍵)
- * Plug and Play (硬體即插即用)
- * Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (核心服務)
- * Windows Management Instrumentation (關鍵，關閉會出怪事)
- 建議停用/手動：Alerter、Application Layer Gateway、Automatic Updates、ClipBook、COM+、Computer Browser、Cryptographic Services、DHCP Client (靜態 IP 用)、Distributed Link Tracking、DNS Client、Error Reporting、Fast User Switching、Help and Support、Human Interface Device、IMAPI CD-Burning、Indexing Service (惡名昭彰減速元兇)、Internet Connection Firewall (不用時)、IPSEC、Logical Disk Manager、Messenger (被惡用傳廣告)、MS Software Shadow Copy、Net Logon、NetMeeting、Network DDE、NTLM Security、NVIDIA Driver Helper、Performance Logs、Portable Media Serial、Print Spooler (無印表機)、QoS RSVP (傳說佔 20% 頻寬)、Remote Registry (駭客最愛)、Removable Storage、Routing and Remote Access、Secondary Logon、Smart Card、SSDP Discovery、System Event Notification、System Restore (資源怪獸，自行斟酌)、Task Scheduler、TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper、Telephony (非撥號上網)、Telnet、Terminal Services (不用遠端桌面/快速切換)、Themes (關閉變經典風格)、UPS、UPnP、Upload Manager、Volume Shadow Copy、WebClient、Windows Audio (要無聲才關)、Windows Installer (建議手動)、Windows Image Acquisition (無掃描/相機)。
七、讓系統自動關閉無回應程式
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\AutoEndTasks = 1 (預設 0) → F5 重新整理。
八、縮短關閉無回應程式等待時間
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WaitToKillAppTimeout = 10000 (10 秒，預設 20000) → F5。
九、自動卸載不再使用的 DLL
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AlwaysUnloadDLL = 1 (新建字串值) → 重開機。
十、資源管理器崩潰後自動重啟
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\AutoRestartShell (DWORD) = 1 (預設 0) → 重開機。
服務精簡需視個人使用情境，建議一次只改一項並觀察。註冊表修改前請備份。善用這些技巧，讓老當益壯的 XP 繼續為您服務。
