Windows 98 開機彈窗「Rundll32 程式執行無效」錯誤於 Mmsystem.dll？修補 System.ini 即可修復

進入 Win98 時反覆出現：「Rundll32 這個程式執行無效，即將關閉...」，詳細資訊顯示 Rundll32 caused a general protection fault in module Mmsystem.dll。

原因與修復：

System.ini 的 [boot] 區段遺失 drivers=mmsystem.dll 這一行。

方法一：手動編輯 System.ini

1. 用記事本開啟 C:\Windows\System.ini。
2. 找到 [boot] 區段，新增一行：drivers=mmsystem.dll。
3. 存檔，重新開機。

方法二：用系統設定公用程式 (msconfig) 圖形化新增

1. 「執行」輸入 msconfig.exe。
2. 切換「System.ini」頁籤，展開 [boot]，點「新增」→ 輸入 drivers=mmsystem.dll → 確定 → 重開機。

補上此驅動載入指令後，多媒體系統元件即能正確初始化，錯誤不再出現。
